MMU has sent us a copy of Liz Price's "Model of the Learner" progress report of Feb 07, which has a useful survey of student attitudes to various aspects of teaching and learning within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.  With Loughborough's WebPA report, which also covered the Engineering area, we have  a good body of material relating to new technologies used in teaching and learning.  Information about WebPA is here.

We are also hoping to have some extensive data from Kate Kirk at MMU from their Shock Absorber Project, which has recently gathered a lot of data from students about their early weeks at university.  We are currently attempting to prioritise certain areas of the data for analysis, so that we can use it in time for our research study.

We are now collating responses to our extensive survey of institutional systems.

We received responses from 38 institutions, some of whom submitted more than one response, in order to cover the full panoply of questions.

Angela has sent in the University of Nottingham focus group reports.  There was an undergraduate group and a postgrad international student group.  As this is not a confidential blog, the information is retained for the eyes of the team only.

Very useful information, which will be fed appropriately into the final report and will be subject to Angela's approval.

Today we sent an email to all AHUA members to invite them to complete the online questionnaire.

We are also intending to ask all our partners to complete the survey too.
